Wahiba Sands, Oman, Arabian Peninsula, Middle East - A bedouin family.  The father and two sons are wearing the traditional Arabian robe, a dishdasha.  The son on the left wears a t-shirt and the traditional wizar or lunghi, a  garment similar to a Far Eastern sarong, which is wrapped around the body from the waist, often worn under a dishdasha.  The second boy from the left holds a traditional walking stick, the asa or khuzran.  In lieu of a veil, women of the Wahiba sands often wear a birqa, or mask, as does the one on the left.
